Hosting

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in a data centre within the EU (Germany). Hetzner processes technical access data (server logs) on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The database and application run on this server.

What data we process

When you use the platform we process account and contact data (name, email, phone, postal code), request and quote data, and messages between customers and pros. When you visit the site, technical access data (IP address, timestamp, user agent) is also processed in server logs.

Purpose and legal basis

Processing is carried out to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to safeguard our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where required, on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Sign-in via third parties (Google, LinkedIn)

You may optionally sign in via Google (Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) or LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Dublin 2, Ireland). Only if you actively choose this option are you redirected to the respective provider; we then receive your name, email address and a unique user identifier in order to create or match your account. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) and pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The respective provider's privacy notice additionally applies.

Processors

To provide our services we use carefully selected providers as processors (Art. 28 GDPR), including for hosting, email delivery and payment processing. Appropriate agreements are in place with all processors. Any transfer to third countries takes place only on the basis of suitable safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
